Jessica completed a Bachelor degree in Applied Science Disability Studies in 2003 and a postgraduate Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education in 2005.
Jessica found her passion for working with children with autism in 1999 when she volunteered to work at a school holiday program run by Autism SA. Jessica soon became an employee with Autism SA in Adelaide, working in a range of programs. She has run social skills groups for children with Asperger Syndrome, provided support for students and teachers in the school environment and worked as a developmental educator in a specialist early development program for pre schoolers with an Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Jessica has worked privately as an ABA therapist and provided respite and one on one support for children with Autism. Jessica has also managed a day-care centre in Canada and has been a teacher in Australia and overseas.
Jessica’s position with ABI will allow her to purse her passion for working with children with Autism and their families in an early intervention behaviour program.
