Managing Behaviours at Home and in the Community

This workshops aims to teach you how to use the principles of Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) and Positive Behaviour Support to determine strategies to reduce, prevent and manage challenging behaviours and teach important skills in everyday situations.

Topics covered include:

  • Understanding why behaviours occur
  • Strategies to increase cooperation at home and in the community
  • Prevent, reduce and manage behaviours
  • How to teach appropriate behaviours
  • Using reinforcement effectively
